The show was very slow, and as we were starting to pack up we had a freak snow/sleet storm. Nothing stuck to the ground but it was still damp and cold. Mark packed up most of my stuff and loaded it in the car for me.  We went out to dinner after the show, that I came home and just sat on the couch, looking forward to that time when I could take a sleeping pill, and just get some deep rest. I usually don’t like to take sleeping pills or muscle relaxers because I do not want to become dependant on them.

Our bodies make natural chemical receptors called endocannabinoids. They are part of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), a harm reduction system found in the brain, nervous system, and elsewhere. They keep everything from our sleep to our appetites running smoothly.  It is a common misconception that these receptors only live in the brain and nervous system. They can also be found in the skin, gut, and reproductive organs. They are even found in break milk!
A lot of people like to infuse their CBD oil into drinks or food to get rid of the earthy CBD taste. The fact that HempWorx sells a pre-infused coffee is great for any caffeine-lovers out their. One box contains 150mg of CBD, equating to roughly 5mg of CBD per cup. The cannabidiol is infused into coffee made with Arabica beans; it is non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan friendly. This product contains zero THC, so you don’t have to worry about any unwanted effects.
As you comb through the web pages, it’s clear the product is meant for a multi-level marketing scheme.  Many of these companies do not expect anyone to actually use the product.  They just  want people who will buy it in hopes of selling it to someone else.  One previous potential customer has said he could not buy the product, as the company demanded a referral.  This means multi-level marketing might be their main business.  This can lead to problems getting the product for regular consumers, though they do have an option to sell directly to the consumer as well on the website.

HempWorx did not come into the picture until May 2017, when it merged into My Daily Choice and became its flagship product, supplementing the line of “nutritional sprays” promoted for everything from weight loss (Trim 365) to cognitive function (simply, Brain). The idea for HempWorx came in the waiting room of a doctor’s office. “I was really sick,” Josh’s wife, Jenna Zwagil, said in a recent interview in which she recounted the visit. As the story goes, in 2014, she was diagnosed with celiac disease. She cut gluten out of her diet but wasn’t getting better. As she waited to be called in for her appointment, she started reading an article on her phone on “the power of cannabis” in treating autoimmune disorders like hers. When she finished the article, she said, she walked out of the office without seeing the doctor to immediately seek out cannabidiol or CBD. Josh and Jenna Zwagil’s “How We Met” story, posted on a shared Facebook account, picks it up from there:
While distributors have proclaimed HempWorx’s cannabis products as “legal in all 50 states,” and Josh Zwagil has said that it’s “100 percent legal” to ship them across state lines (more on this in the next section), the contract advises that distributors nevertheless “consult with an attorney regarding the extent of their personal legal liability with respect to their independent businesses,” noting that “laws differ according to jurisdiction.”
Generally, CBD oil is made by combining an extract with a carrier fluid or oil. This question is best answered by looking at how the CBD oil was extracted. CBD oil can be extracted using CO2 systems or by using chemical solvents. Both methods produce a CBD oil byproduct that is then combined with a fluid like MCT oil, coconut oil, or olive oil so that it can be delivered to the body. Always check to make sure you know the CBD content of the products you purchase.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the numerous compounds found in the cannabis plant. CBD oil can be obtained from two different species of cannabinoids: marijuana and hemp, which come from the same plant species called Cannabis sativa. Hemp-based CBD oil products have a lower delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration, while marijuana-derived CBD oil products have a relatively high concentration of THC.  Therefor, marijuana-based CBD products can be used only when they are prescribed by doctors while hemp-based CBD oils do not normally require a prescription.
Hempworx CBD oil herbal drops has a nice webpage.  However, immediately you run into confusion about what is being sold, a confusion that works in their favor.  Most people don’t know the difference between CBD, CBD oil, and hemp oil.  Hempworx’s front page contains the visual above which shows the benefits of CBD.  Most consumers will assume from this that they product being sold is CBD oil.  Much of it is CBD with verified levels, but some of the products contain hemp oil instead.  These are clearly labeled, so it’s on the consumer to read and interpret the product labels.
Hempworx probably has some utility as a multi-level marketing tool.  If we believe the lab reports, the CBD oil may be a good product.  It has at least 10 mg of CBD per dropper, and less than 1 mg of other cannabinoids.  Even the coffee tells you exactly how much CBD is in it and it is a therapeutic amount.  So, they get a good grade for this.  This is a good mix of cannabinoids.  However, it comes at the expense of an affiliate program so the price is significantly marked up.

That’s important to farmers like Meyer, and to consumers. When a plant contains 0.3 percent or less THC, the federal government considers it “industrial hemp,” and by Colorado’s and most states’ reckoning, can legally be formulated into oils, tinctures, topicals, and capsules, and widely sold to consumers. But if a plant has THC levels above 0.3 percent, the federal government considers it marijuana, and even states where it is legal sharply limit where the products can be sold.
On the other hand, take extra care with products that list only the amount of total “cannabinoids” they contain, not specifically how much CBD is in them. Those cannabinoids could include not just CBD and THC but dozens of other related compounds. Companies may take that labeling approach because they hope it will attract less scrutiny from the Food and Drug Administration, Lee says.
In sum, I would say the HempWorx affiliate program is as good as it gets. And I say that not because I am an affiliate but because I have done the extensive research and backed it up with facts. In addition, I have experienced the company, the products, the market, my customers, the competition and more first hand, not by guesswork. I am happy to answer any of your follow up questions to help you determine if this opportunity is a good fit for you. For products made with CBD from hemp, even Colorado doesn’t require testing of the finished product. So any COA for those final products comes from testing the company arranged on its own. Though not all manufacturers take that step, many do, Lanier says. That includes even some companies that use imported hemp, such as CV Sciences, which makes Plus CBD Oil from hemp grown in Holland.

The $600 million-plus hemp industry is poised for massive growth across the U.S. as more states legalize cultivation of the plant, promising to create scores of new business opportunities and jobs in the coming years. The market for hemp-based CBD products in particular is booming, which has helped bring established medical marijuana companies into the fold.

Hemp oil is quickly becoming a commonly used ingredient in many cosmetics such as body lotions, soaps and shampoos. Even modest daily usage of hemp oil, whether it is ingested or applied to the skin, has been shown to lead to improvements in skin quality, stronger fingernails and even thicker hair. Hemp oil that is full of cannabidiol (CBD), a cannabinoid with neuroprotectant, antioxidant and other therapeutic qualities, generated $130 million in sales in 2016 and is projected to reach $350 million by 2020.

While hemp might seem like a new phenomenon, its history dates back to the 1600s when growing hemp was encouraged for use in sails, ropes and clothing. However, in the 1900s, hemp was frowned upon by the government: in 1937, the Marijuana Tax Act banned hemp and marijuana cultivation. Yet, it wasn’t before long that industries realized the crop's benefits: In the 1940s, the government launched its “Hemp for Victory” program encouraging farmers to grow hemp to contribute to the war efforts and to be used in ropes, parachutes and other necessities. However, after the war, the laws went back to banning hemp. But in 2014 the U.S. Farm Bill was passed, allowing people to cultivate hemp as long as they registered and received a license.
Regarding health claims, the contract states: “Under no circumstances may [a distributor] prescribe any Product as suitable for a particular ailment. No claims may be made as to therapeutic or curative properties of any Product offered by the Company.” As for income claims, the contract says distributors are “prohibited from making false, misleading, or unrepresentative claims regarding earning potential.” It adds that, when an income claim reflects actual earnings, the claim must be accompanied by “the Company’s current Annual Average Income Disclosure, posted on the Company’s website.” But as of the date of publication, it was not posted there.
1. Is Hempworx a scam? No. CBD oil scams do exist whereby consumers are deceived and grossly overcharged for a poor quality product. Hempworx is a real product of reasonably good quality that is sold to customers that willingly purchase it. Hempworx does sell its products through multi-level marketing (MLM). This is the same sales strategy used by companies like Avon, Doterra, Rodan & Fields, Advocare and a host of others. Each sale is credited to one of their affiliates who receive a commission for the sale. Affiliates are also incented to recruit new affiliates to sell the product. While the MLM business model can be controversial and the authenticity of testimonials from those selling the product can be questioned, that doesn’t make it a scam.
If you’d prefer to add a CBD creamer into your coffee rather than use CBD-infused beans, then these are for you. Containing 5mg of hemp oil extract per creamer stick, you can purchase these CBD Keto Coffee Creamers in Hazelnut, Vanilla or Mocha flavour. As well as containing zero THC, these creamers are also sugar free for more health benefits. Just like the coffee, they are non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan friendly.
Also, all HempWorx products are 100% organic and non-genetically modified, and the company apparently makes all of its products right here in the United States. Moreover, the hemp used to extract the oil is grown in Kentucky, and unlike a lot of firms who claim their CBD products to be lab tested, HempWorx actually ‘walks the walk’ by publishing up-to-date details of their test results on the site (you can find them under the “HempWorx Store” tab by clicking the “CBD Oil Certification” button).
