The final concern to address - was the market high growth with not much competition or was it slow growth with a lot of competition or somewhere in between? This was easy and compelling to determine. One look at Google trends showed the clear demand for these products seen in graph below. Another credible source, Forbes, predicts growth of the cannabis industry to be over 700% by 2020 - in fact, no other industry is growing faster. I also looked at the competition and compared the quality of products, their pricing, marketing, etc. and found that HempWorx was a clear leader. But what about competition - was it saturated or was their room to get in and make it work? Using a variety of metric tools, I figured out that it was definitely still quite early to be venturing into this market and the opportunity for growth without a lot of competition will be available for quite some time.
For very quick relief of, say, muscle cramps or anxiety, inhaling CBD may be most effective, via either a vape pen (think e-cigarette) or cigarette-style. For effects within a few minutes, oil drops under the tongue may be useful. Topical lotions, rubbed onto the skin, vary from person to person—some may feel it right away, others not for several hours. On the other hand, CBD in food products is likely to take longer—30 minutes or more—to be absorbed into your system. Read more about the pros and cons of each form.

No exaggeration our life journey is enjoyable again because of HEMPWORX My husband has PTSD and Parkinson's diease. He has been on CBD oil for 9 months. The first stint on the oil was for approximately three months, his tremors reduced dramatically and anxiety all but disappeared. Then he ran out. OMG never again, the tremors came back and the PTSD kicked straight back in. That was six weeks at absolute hell. Sleep deprivation, back to living like a hermit not wanting to go out, definitely no social life. Life is hard with Parkinson's, the tremors stop him from wanting to be in public. Roll on to the next shipment and a change to Hempworx. The change is dramatic, we are back to being able to go out for dinner again, Doug will now chose to socialise instead of always saying 'no'. Being able to hold a cup of coffee without wearing it, being able to cut up his food without help, being told by the neurologist he does not need to see him for twelve months. I have and never will have a problem caring for my husband, the love between us is strong and he is worth every second of my time but in the harder times the joy of living can be lost for both of us. BTW he takes 10 drops morning and night. Because of Hempworx our life journey is enjoyable again.
But why is hemp illegal in the first place? After all, America was built on hemp, an industrial crop which contains tiny amounts of THC, the chemical compound in cannabis that produces psychoactive effects. Several Founding Fathers grew hemp. Cultivation of hemp was mandated by law in the Massachusetts, Virginia and Connecticut colonies. Beginning in 1631, hemp was legal tender for paying taxes in many of the American colonies and remained so for state taxes until the early 1800s.
While Jenna’s “How I cured my celiac disease” story is inspiring and research into the therapeutic effects of CBD is promising, especially in the treatment of seizures and other neurological disorders, the FDA is clear: Marketing supplements as having the ability to treat, cure, alleviate the symptoms of, or prevent developing diseases is simply not permitted by law. Yet that has not stopped Jenna and distributors from claiming that HempWorx treats a number of diseases, including Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and cancer, often as an alternative to traditional treatments. In fact, TINA.org has amassed a database of more than 100 inappropriate and illegal health claims. They include:
Before there was HempWorx, there was My Daily Choice, an MLM whose main products pre-HempWorx were supplements that you spray into your mouth. Josh Zwagil started My Daily Choice in November 2014, a month after ending a five-year run with an automotive products MLM, Syntek Global, where he rose to the highest rank of Blue Diamond Executive, according to his LinkedIn page. (Fun fact: After Zwagil left Syntek Global, the MLM filed a lawsuit against its longtime president, John Winterholler, alleging, among other things, that he went behind the company’s back and against its interests to market and sell a competitor’s products.)
There are other, unexpected, costs. Green Roads lost four banks when their risk-management teams decided that Green Roads wasn't a business they wanted to be supporting. The company's Instagram account has likewise been shut down four times, because of legal restrictions on marketing CBD products. Instead of paying standard credit card processing fees of less than 3 percent, Green Roads pays closer to 6 percent.
Fuentes and Barosso soon became business partners and the co-founders of Green Roads. Barroso went door-to-door to smoke shops, leaving bottles of CBD oil on consignment. "In the beginning, no one would give us the time of day," Fuentes says. Then she started hearing that grandmothers were going into vape shops to find CBD. "I was like, we have to do something about this," she says. "Grandmas are not comfortable in vape stores!"
The certification on site are not up to date and I am not able to find my lot number. I emailed them and waiting. Seems weird cant find my batches info especially since they boast about having that info publically available. I just started it so jury is still out for now but it does concern me how the documentation page is set up. You scroll down and see a lot of certs but cant find one for the bottle I have in my hand???

Ten years later, the 2014 Farm Bill established pilot programs in which universities and state agencies could grow industrial hemp, defined as containing less than 0.3 percent THC, for research purposes. It would be the first time since the 1937 law was passed that hemp could be legally cultivated and harvested in the U.S. The commercial cultivation, harvest and processing of hemp, however, remained federally illegal.

Flush with cash and looking for a toehold in the United States, Canadian marijuana companies are making big investments in hemp. Consider: Canopy Growth (NYSE: CGC), an Ontario marijuana producer that snagged an investment for 5 billion Canadian dollars ($3.8 billion) from a New York alcohol company, recently announced it is entering the U.S. hemp market. Eating chocolate, interestingly enough, is not the only common experience associated with the cannabinoid system. A study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in 2015 found that increased levels of oxytocin—a.k.a. “the love hormone” that enhances the bond between lovers—prompts the release of anandamide, which then acts on the cannabinoid receptors. This means the cannabinoid system also plays a role in the “love experience.”
This is hemp oil which contains a full range of phytocannabinoids, including nearly 160 percent CBD content.  This became a point of confusion when we first examined the label but we have concluded the product likely does have the professed CBD content.  CBD and phytocannabinoid is used interchangeably because most of the phytocannabinoid is CBD with the other cannabinoids not comprising half a milligram for every 10 mg of CBD.
“As we researched hemp food products, the majority of it was as a base ingredient for shakes and smoothies,” says Dolgin. “We believe the next iteration of the hemp market is to go into snack foods, to give it wider penetration into households,” he says. “We’re looking at products like ice cream and beer. We already have a pretty broad product portfolio, and we want to get even more innovative.”
Very confused why my bottle does not have a batch number on it so that i can look up the certificate of testing? the person who sold me it said i could check lab testing and i can’t. this is false advertising. doesn’t seem right. on further looking it is an MLM company which makes you think how much the product is really worth if you are paying all the people at different levels. you pay the person who sold it to you and the people above them in the triangle. would rather not. i’m in scotland and over here cbd is now available lots of places. the high street versions aren’t very good. but i don’t want to support an mlm like this so I keep looking. i was drawn in by someone on facebook selling so be aware and be careful!
