Then again: Zwagil also says, through his company’s Policies and Procedures (see above section), that you should talk to a lawyer before joining HempWorx as “laws differ according to jurisdiction,” which does not make it sound “100 percent legal.” He also gets the percentages wrong: it’s .3 percent THC, not .03 percent THC, which further supports the notion that perhaps you shouldn’t rely on him regarding cannabis laws.

Uruguay, often recognized as the pioneer in legalized recreational marijuana, is also building a solid foundation to support its hemp industry. “Uruguay is an agricultural country with a clear regulatory framework that offers attractive conditions for large-scale outdoor cultivation (of hemp),” said Maria Belen Algorta, who oversees Uruguay operations for Australia-based Ecofibre. “As far as […]

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabis compound that has been known for it’s significant medicinal benefits. Hempworx Oil does not make you “HIGH” it makes you healthy. This makes HempWorx the option of choice for many people seeking relief from a host of medical issues. Hemp CBD does not make you high…it makes you healthy! While distributors have proclaimed HempWorx’s cannabis products as “legal in all 50 states,” and Josh Zwagil has said that it’s “100 percent legal” to ship them across state lines (more on this in the next section), the contract advises that distributors nevertheless “consult with an attorney regarding the extent of their personal legal liability with respect to their independent businesses,” noting that “laws differ according to jurisdiction.”

In 1937, federal prohibition of cannabis as we know it today began with the Marihuana Tax Act. Some believe that the anti-cannabis campaign was a joint effort by Andrew Mellon, William Randolph Hearst and Pierre Du Pont to protect their business interests in petrochemicals, paper, cotton and nylon, all of which faced serious competition from hemp alternatives. Others believe that the crusade against cannabis was fueled by racism and the desire to demonize Mexican immigrants. In either case, the plant should never have been outlawed.
I also needed to know about the HempWorx management and marketing presentation - were they quality people with a quality message or were they cheesy and sleazy? I was surprised to find out that the Founders of HempWorx are a young couple, Jenna and Josh Zwagil (photo right). The company was born out of Jenn’s and her son’s medical needs after trying a CBD Oil product. After watching many videos and talking to other affiliates, I learned that Jenn and Josh are pretty straightforward, no B.S. people who care about making a difference in people’s health and wealth. The way they present the product is the same - nothing flashy or sleazy - just straight facts about the products and industry with a quality hands on approach.
In addition to THC, Meyer and consumers also need to worry about whether CBD products have contaminants. That’s because cannabis plants readily absorb heavy metals, pesticides, and other potentially harmful chemicals that may be in the soil or water, says Kyle Boyar, a cannabis scientist at Medicinal Genomics, a company that develops tests that help labs comply with state rules. To protect against that risk, cannabis plants should be tested frequently while they are growing, and finished products should be tested, using validated methods, too, Boyar says.
Subcritical CO2 extraction technology allows us to extract all of the nutrients, without using any heat or harmful solvents. Hempworx CBD oil contains all the CBD’s and 400+ other nutrients that work synergistically in an easy-to-use, easy-to-absorb form. Most CBD companies use solvents to perform extraction potentially destroying the potential therapeutic benefit of the whole cannabis phytocomplex. There are more than 400 phytonutrients in hemp.
It didn’t take long after U.S. consumers accepted kale as a superfood for the leafy green to take off. The same thing could easily happen to hemp seeds once more American farmers are allowed to cultivate and sell the crop. For perspective on the potential business opportunity, consider that Canadian farmers exported $45 million worth of hemp seed to the U.S. in 2016, making as much as $300 per acre, per season, farming industrial hemp. That’s five to 10 times as much as what our farmers in the Midwest are currently making for growing GMO wheat, corn and soy.

HempWorx CBD is an interesting brand that has no issue with transparency in terms of how they operate as a business, and where they source their raw hemp plant material from. Also, one of the main things that stands out to me as that they’re one of the only companies I know of that offers specific dosing guidelines for a range of serious medical conditions. This is a bit odd, however, as they also make it clear that CBD is not approved by the FDA as a medicine, and thus none of their products are designed to “treat, cure, or prevent” any disease.
