All our hemp crops are grown free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, so our quality starts with our hemp plants. From the time our hemp oil is harvested to the manufacturing and shipping of our products, we test our hemp oil multiple times to ensure accuracy in potency information and to check for contaminants like pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and mold. We also use a subcritical CO2 method when we extract our hemp oil, instead of using harsh solvents. CO2 is a much healthier choice than other potential solvents and is "generally regarded as safe" (GRAS) by the FDA. Because of this extraction method, our purity levels reflect on the FULL SPECTRUM of CBD; CBG, CBN, etc. Which is much more powerful and potent than these companies who are advertising 99% purity, because they are isolating the CBD from the entire plant (isolate) then adding it back into the product and calling it pure. This is usually in the form of "isolate" or and "extract". CBD isolate is cheaper to manufacture, and when the CBD is isolated, those products lose its effectiveness. Be careful of all the ingredients listed on the products and look for extra fillers. All the Hempworx oils have no fillers and just have 3 natural ingredients, some have peppermint oil for flavoring. Hempworx have over 120 cannabidoids in our CBD formulas which perfectly inhibits the CB2 receptors in the body.
CBD Oil is fast becoming the choice of consumers in the MMJ arena. It is clear that people want to be healthy and not high. Currently CBD is blowing past MMJ for the benefits of CBD without the high of THC. It clearly appears to be REPLACING MMJ and health professionals agree. Because CBD Oil is rich in CBD and has little to no THC (consider the new ZERO THC version), the benefits of CBD are prevalent, while the impairment of THC is nonexistent.
That pretty much describes the status of an entire industry--the makers of products containing cannabidiol, or CBD. The compound, added to everything from skin cream to ice cream, can be derived from hemp or marijuana and has been touted as a treatment for ailments ranging from anxiety to cancer. The catch: "It's still in a legal gray area," says Bethany Gomez, director of research for Brightfield Group, which studies the cannabis and CBD industries.
As a result, customers can now be confident that most companies out there are pretty legitimate in terms of the overall safety of their products. However, you should still keep your eyes peeled and do as much research as possible, as a lot of brands are still selling non-therapeutic hemp seed oils as “CBD oils,” when in fact they contain very little of the active compound at all.
