Research is beginning to show that CBD is different than other well-studied cannabinoids. All cannabinoids act as ligands, meaning they dock onto the binding site of a protein and have the ability to modulate a receptor’s behavior. CB1 receptors are widely distributed, but are particularly abundant in areas of the brain, including those concerned with movement, coordination, pain and sensory perception, emotion, memory, cognition, autonomic and endocrine functions. Among the fans of JD Farms products is the dynamic chef Ignacio Mattos, of Estela and Flora Bar at the Met Breuer in Manhattan. “We are always pursuing new ingredients and flavors,” Mattos said in an email. “The leaves have quite a unique flavor profile, they’re grassy and sweet. The seeds are a bit nutty and sweet when they’re raw. The texture is quite fun when it’s toasted and a bit more savory when cooked.” He’s working on using the seeds in desserts and adding the oil to a tomato and mozzarella salad.
A 500mg bottle of Hempworx CBD oil costs $69 plus shipping. Before shipping cost it amounts to $0.14 per milligram of CBD. The 750mg bottle costs $89 plus shipping or $0.12 per milligram of CBD. The price per milligram is not outrageous by MLM standards. Still, it’s considerably higher in price than CBD oil products from other trustworthy companies like Lazarus Naturals, Bluebird Botanicals, and CBDistillery.
Uruguay, often recognized as the pioneer in legalized recreational marijuana, is also building a solid foundation to support its hemp industry. “Uruguay is an agricultural country with a clear regulatory framework that offers attractive conditions for large-scale outdoor cultivation (of hemp),” said Maria Belen Algorta, who oversees Uruguay operations for Australia-based Ecofibre. “As far as […]

Hemp products sold in stores are most often made with hemp seed oil, which can contain only trace amounts of CBD. While it has been noted that hemp seed oil can be a great source of nutrition, its marginal quantity of CBD per weight makes it unfeasible as a CBD supplement. Our CBD hemp oil, however, is extracted from the stalk of specifically selected hemp cultivars, offering higher percentages of CBD by weight and additional nutritional benefits from the contents of our oil.
For one, I live in a state where marijuana is not yet legal, so I was forced to buy it off the street (from friends most of the time), and buying it like that, you never really know what you are getting. You don’t know if you are getting an Indica or Sativa, what strain of plant you are smoking (White Widow, Sour Diesel, etc…), and you still pay an arm and a leg for small bags of it. Not to mention constantly being in fear that I might be pulled over with it on me and end up going to jail for possessing a plant (Ridiculous)!
Also, as with any other MLM program, typically the ones who jump on board first are often the ones who really make a lot of money with the company. Unfortunately, many of these MLM companies end up being shut down later and people who have made significant amounts of money end up losing all of it due to government intervention. After all, there’s a very thin line between an MLM opportunity and a pyramid scheme. Often, this line can be very difficult to discern and will go undetected for many years.
The are no guarantees regarding the income from the MyDailyChoice/HempWorx opportunity. The success or failure of each Affiliate, like in any other business, depends upon each Affiliates’ skillset and personal effort. Earning levels for Independent Affiliates are examples and should not be construed as typical or average. Income level achievements are dependent upon the individual Affiliates business skills, personal ambition, time, commitment, activity, and demographic factors.
The next concern to address - how is the compensation plan and how does it compare to others? After researching several CBD affiliate programs, it became clear that the HempWorx affiliate program had by far the most lucrative program and you can view details here - My Daily Choice Compensation Plan - as you will see there are 8 different ways you are compensated and the opportunity in my opinion is fair and generous if you are willing to work at it and advance in rank as your sales volume increases.
Worx is a complete scam. It is a peer amid multi-level marketing. You have to pay $20 to become a member to buy their product. I have used numerous different CBD products. And I found there is to be pretty much useless. All of the reps will claim that it contains no THC, which is not true, it contains 0.3%. All the reps push so hard just like all the other peer amid scheme’s out there they’re like little robots programmed for sales. Their prices are double than anyone out there. Not impressed at all.
Once you are into your back office, you will see it is branded as MyDailyChoice. MyDailyChoice is the affiliate arm of the HempWorx business and is a leader in affiliate programs for health products. HempWorx and MyDailyChoice have partnered to provide the top CBD products business opportunity for quality products, highest paying compensation plan, and proven marketing systems including your own websites.
Thank you for writing this review on Hempworx. I have not heard of them before. Like you said Hemp/ Cannabis and related products are illegal in many parts of the world, where I live is one of them. MLM’s are also a grey area in my part of the world as well. I can see how this product would be appealing to some parts of the community, but hard to run a business if you are so restricted around where you can ship products to. It sounds like a local marketing specific product, subject to Government approval. Thanks for making me aware of it.
The second package option is called the Director Pack. The Director Pack provides you with 4 products of your choice at a discount which you can use for yourself or sell to others for a profit. This qualifies you at the Director Level which pays you 35% commission on your Business Volume (BV) plus 10% of sales made by affiliates that you bring in. The Director is also eligible for many other commission payouts and bonuses. See the compensation plan for more details.
After looking at everything this company has to offer and comparing it to some of the many other online business opportunities that currently exist, I personally can’t recommend taking the risk of jumping in with this company at the present. There are far too many opportunities on the Internet to make money and run a successful online business to risk one that is potentially still a legal gray area.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the numerous compounds found in the cannabis plant. CBD oil can be obtained from two different species of cannabinoids: marijuana and hemp, which come from the same plant species called Cannabis sativa. Hemp-based CBD oil products have a lower delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration, while marijuana-derived CBD oil products have a relatively high concentration of THC.  Therefor, marijuana-based CBD products can be used only when they are prescribed by doctors while hemp-based CBD oils do not normally require a prescription.
Making health claims, even just the ability to treat relatively minor problems like migraines, is legal only for prescription drugs, which undergo extensive testing for effectiveness and safety. And the more dramatic the claim, such as the ability to cure cancer or heart disease, the more skeptical you should be. Since 2015, the FDA has cracked down on dozens of companies selling CBD products online for making unallowed health claims.
HempWorx distributors have also emphasized “the power of recruiting” in order to be successful. But here’s the thing: If making money as a distributor depends more on a person’s ability to recruit others than sell product, the vast majority of distributors will inevitably fail. Moreover, a de-emphasis on product sales opens an MLM to criticism of operating a pyramid scheme.
Legalization removes these barriers and is expected to provide a boost to the U.S. hemp industry, which was previously on track to grow to a $2 billion market by 2022 prior to the Farm Bill's passage. According to the Brightfield Group, though, legalization would result in a $22 billion hemp-derived CBD market by 2022, which excludes the many other types of hemp-derived products on the market. To put that in perspective, the entire domestic cannabis industry (which includes not just hemp, but also cannabis and all its derivative products) was projected to stimulate $23.4 billion in consumer spending by 2022. That means if the Brightfield Group's estimates are accurate, hemp-derived CBD alone could double the projected market value of the entire cannabis industry.
HempWorx uses only industrial, GMO-free Kentucky hemp grown using organic methods under the 2014 Farm Bill and the Government Pilot Program for Hemp Research. The result is high potency and consistency in each compound processed via solvent-free CO2 extraction. They offer powerful, full spectrum oils as well as THC-free tinctures (Note that all HempWorx’s full spectrum oils fall at or below the federal allotment for THC levels). Each oil is available in two concentrations in cinnamon, peppermint, and natural flavors. No artificial colors or flavors are present in any of their offerings. The innovative topicals include high-end skincare varieties rich in healing properties. The powerful anti-aging cream treats wrinkles with 50 mg CBD, while their Revive cream includes other anti-agers like collagen and retinol. HempWorx’s pet line features dog treats that are soy-free, grain-free, and corn-free plus oil tinctures for pain/anxiety relief. One of their most popular products is the hemp-infused coffee, a delicious way to enjoy CBD benefits. And the best part is the CBD Keto Coffee Creamer that goes along with it! This savory addition is gluten-free, Keto, vegan, and sugar-free: a great way to add CBD to a daily health regimen in a tasty way.
3. Is the CBD oil sold by Hempworx a bad product? No. To their credit, Hempworx does post third party lab reports posted on its website. Third party lab reports are the only way to really know what’s in the product you are buying. The Hempworx lab reports clearly show the amount of CBD and other cannabinoids including trace amounts of THC in the Hempworx CBD oil tincture. By all accounts, Hempworx CBD oil is of reasonably good quality. However, it’s worth noting that their posted lab reports do not show results of heavy metal, pesticide and residual solvents testing. The omission of these test results is concerning.
In the USA the legal definition of “commercial hemp,” per Section 7606 of the Agricultural Appropriations Act of 2014, is “INDUSTRIAL HEMP– The term “industrial hemp” indicates the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”
One company that’s paying attention to JD Farms is Whole Foods Market Inc. According to one of its senior global grocery buyers, David Lafferty, “shoppers are seeking out hemp products more than ever, thanks to both product innovation and the increased promotion of hemp’s nutritional benefits by food brands.” JD Farms has teamed with Satur Farms—the Long Island-based supplier of gourmet greens and vegetables—on a baby greens mix of kale and hemp that will be available at Whole Foods throughout the Northeast by the end of July. The salad’s sharp leaves are vaguely reminiscent of pot and have a similar sharp, almost minty flavor. Co-owner Paulette Satur describes the flavor as “lemony,” and is optimistic about the project. “We decided it fits in well with kale in terms of texture and its being chockablock with health benefits. And we’re the first to offer baby hemp leaves in the U.S., which is exciting.” Of the slight, physical resemblance hemp shares with pot leaves, Satur jokes, “Maybe this is a good way to get older kids to eat their vegetables.”

The heat is very much on CBD oil sellers these days as the FDA continues to crack down on companies selling “questionable” (to put it nicely) hemp-based products. In fact, since 2015 – when the FDA first issued warning letters to multiple CBD sellers – the industry has been forced to clean up its act, at least in terms of manufacturing operations and brand transparency.
