One company that’s paying attention to JD Farms is Whole Foods Market Inc. According to one of its senior global grocery buyers, David Lafferty, “shoppers are seeking out hemp products more than ever, thanks to both product innovation and the increased promotion of hemp’s nutritional benefits by food brands.” JD Farms has teamed with Satur Farms—the Long Island-based supplier of gourmet greens and vegetables—on a baby greens mix of kale and hemp that will be available at Whole Foods throughout the Northeast by the end of July. The salad’s sharp leaves are vaguely reminiscent of pot and have a similar sharp, almost minty flavor. Co-owner Paulette Satur describes the flavor as “lemony,” and is optimistic about the project. “We decided it fits in well with kale in terms of texture and its being chockablock with health benefits. And we’re the first to offer baby hemp leaves in the U.S., which is exciting.” Of the slight, physical resemblance hemp shares with pot leaves, Satur jokes, “Maybe this is a good way to get older kids to eat their vegetables.”
I was skeptical until I used the product. 500mg THC free, 5 drops in the am and pm, along with the relief cream on my hands, and within 12 minutes my arthritis pain decreased to almost gone. I could bend all my fingers and felt great. On day 3, all gone. Crazy. Sooo, I am getting it for my mother. All my stiffness is gone...my joints have not felt this normal in years. I guess this stuff really does work. I will continue to use this.

Hemp, a non-intoxicating form of the plant Cannabis sativa (L.), was outlawed in the U.S. in 1937 when Congress passed the Marihuana Tax Act. Although most states have legalized hemp in some form since, the federal prohibition meant interstate commerce involving the plant and its derivative products remained illegal. Jenelle Kim, co-founder and lead formulator of hemp product manufacturer JBK Wellness Labs, said the prohibition overshadowed thousands of years of hemp usage in human culture. Hemp Products sold in stores are most often made with hemp seed oil, which can contain only trace amounts of CBD. While it has been noted that hemp seed oil can be a great source of nutrition, its marginal quantity of CBD per weight makes it unfeasible as a CBD supplement. Our CBD hemp oil, however, is extracted from the stalk of specifically selected hemp cultivars, offering higher percentages of CBD by weight and additional nutritional benefits from the contents of our oil.
I will admit I was skeptical about this oil. Then I read the review from the mother with the autistic child and how well it worked and figured it was worth a try. I'm taking it to help with my focus, anxiety & stress. I didn't really *feel* much after taking it, but Hubby said it was like turning on a switch and he could see a drastic change in me. I have been able to focus better and so far I do seem to be handling stressful situations better. It definitely works better than those dangerous overpriced pharmaceutical versions the doctors would prescribe to me.
While Jenna’s “How I cured my celiac disease” story is inspiring and research into the therapeutic effects of CBD is promising, especially in the treatment of seizures and other neurological disorders, the FDA is clear: Marketing supplements as having the ability to treat, cure, alleviate the symptoms of, or prevent developing diseases is simply not permitted by law. Yet that has not stopped Jenna and distributors from claiming that HempWorx treats a number of diseases, including Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and cancer, often as an alternative to traditional treatments. In fact, TINA.org has amassed a database of more than 100 inappropriate and illegal health claims. They include:

Thanks for the heads-up on Hemp Worx. I’ve noticed a lot of hype about this business opportunity. I agree they are deceptive in their promotional materials. As an affiliate marketer, I’m always at least curious about new affiliate opportunities that appear lucrative. But I have no interest in MLMs. Thanks for exposing the true nature of Hemp Worx and saving me some time!

In 1996, a study published in the clinical journal Nature found that chocolate contains thre...e fatty acid compounds that bind directly to cannabinoid receptors or indirectly act on them through increased anandamide levels (by inhibiting the FAAH enzyme). The endocannabinoid anandamide, which is commonly called “natural tetrahydrocannabinol” (or THC), is “a brain lipid that binds to cannabinoid receptors with high affinity and mimics the psychoactive effects of plant-derived cannabinoid drugs.” This suggests that certain chocolate compounds act on the same receptors as cannabis does. Though some researchers today question whether the compounds actually do bind to the receptors directly, the majority agree that chocolate does increase anandamide levels, thus affecting them indirectly.

Yes. All our hemp crops are grown free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, so our quality starts with our hemp plants. From the time our hemp oil is harvested to the manufacturing and shipping of our products, we test our hemp oil multiple times to ensure accuracy in potency information and to check for contaminants like pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and mold, as well as cannabinoid content. We also use a subcritical CO2 method when we extract our hemp oil, instead of harsh solvents. CO2 is a much healthier choice than other potential solvents and is “generally regarded as safe” (GRAS) by the FDA.

It didn’t take long after U.S. consumers accepted kale as a superfood for the leafy green to take off. The same thing could easily happen to hemp seeds once more American farmers are allowed to cultivate and sell the crop. For perspective on the potential business opportunity, consider that Canadian farmers exported $45 million worth of hemp seed to the U.S. in 2016, making as much as $300 per acre, per season, farming industrial hemp. That’s five to 10 times as much as what our farmers in the Midwest are currently making for growing GMO wheat, corn and soy.
3. Is the CBD oil sold by Hempworx a bad product? No. To their credit, Hempworx does post third party lab reports posted on its website. Third party lab reports are the only way to really know what’s in the product you are buying. The Hempworx lab reports clearly show the amount of CBD and other cannabinoids including trace amounts of THC in the Hempworx CBD oil tincture. By all accounts, Hempworx CBD oil is of reasonably good quality. However, it’s worth noting that their posted lab reports do not show results of heavy metal, pesticide and residual solvents testing. The omission of these test results is concerning.
While distributors have proclaimed HempWorx’s cannabis products as “legal in all 50 states,” and Josh Zwagil has said that it’s “100 percent legal” to ship them across state lines (more on this in the next section), the contract advises that distributors nevertheless “consult with an attorney regarding the extent of their personal legal liability with respect to their independent businesses,” noting that “laws differ according to jurisdiction.”
In sum, I would say the HempWorx affiliate program is as good as it gets. And I say that not because I am an affiliate but because I have done the extensive research and backed it up with facts. In addition, I have experienced the company, the products, the market, my customers, the competition and more first hand, not by guesswork. I am happy to answer any of your follow up questions to help you determine if this opportunity is a good fit for you. As the cannabis plant awaits a high-stakes review from international health authorities, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is inviting the public to weigh in on whether cannabis, CBD and other cannabis extracts should declassified as a controlled substance. The UN’s World Health Organization made a preliminary announcement in December that CBD has a low […]
Hempworx sources only organic, pesticide-free, raw materials to make all their products including their CBD oil.  Hempworx also uses a Subcritical CO2 extraction for all our wholesale CBD Oil. This technique allows for the purest form of CBD oil. Once the hemp is harvested, a fresh lot drying method is used to prevent bacteria and mold growth. Most CBD farms do not use a fresh lot drying method, most simply seal the hemp in bags that end up on shelves to conserve the integrity of the plant. The problem is this method creates a loss of potency and phytochemicals.

Not true. A family member of mine also failed a drug test using Hempworx that was supposedly zero THC. They contacted their rep who refused to respond to calls or texts. So then they went straight to the company who said they were sorry but nothing they could do because supposedly their lab is different than the one that did the drug test??? What a scam.
