For products made with CBD from hemp, even Colorado doesn’t require testing of the finished product. So any COA for those final products comes from testing the company arranged on its own. Though not all manufacturers take that step, many do, Lanier says. That includes even some companies that use imported hemp, such as CV Sciences, which makes Plus CBD Oil from hemp grown in Holland.

1. Is Hempworx a scam? No. CBD oil scams do exist whereby consumers are deceived and grossly overcharged for a poor quality product. Hempworx is a real product of reasonably good quality that is sold to customers that willingly purchase it. Hempworx does sell its products through multi-level marketing (MLM). This is the same sales strategy used by companies like Avon, Doterra, Rodan & Fields, Advocare and a host of others. Each sale is credited to one of their affiliates who receive a commission for the sale. Affiliates are also incented to recruit new affiliates to sell the product. While the MLM business model can be controversial and the authenticity of testimonials from those selling the product can be questioned, that doesn’t make it a scam.
I’ve used several oils before trying Hempworx. Negative reviews are often from other competitors or other MLM companies too. MLM has received a bad rep because of pushy reps and reps that have spammed people for years. It’s unfortunate that people review a product based upon their opinion of MLM reps. If you really take a look at the Hempworx oil, you will see that it is a pure product. The oil does not have any added non-hemp carrier oil. And if you go to an affiliates website, all you need to do is scroll down to the bottom and click on FAQ. You will get a ton of information. I also think people should keep in mind that if you are google searching for reviews on a particular product, pretty much all the “reviews” out there are also affiliates of each of those companies, and when you click on the links provided, they are receiving a percentage of the sale as well.

Hempworx is a joke. Lying to all of us that its legal. They pretty well destroyed ever affiliate that was selling it. Now the new thing is that Josh the CEO got caught. He still does not have the liscense to sell CBD. Now you need a prescription to buy hempworx. You have to get a consultation from one of their doctors and pay 150.00 fee. And you say anything negative about the company they ban you instantly from their groups. They found this loop hole to be able to sell in Canada. This was the only way he could scam some more. Its going to be legal in Canada in Oct. Why would you need to buy from hempworx. They figure they are the only company in the world that sells full spectrum. Its kind of like a cult, the company has brain washed affiliates to make them think their product is the best. I can get CBD in Canada now with out a prescription. So how would affiliates market this stuff now that you need a prescription. As soon as its legal I’m sure a canadian company will start making CBD for sale. Why stick with hempworx its a huge scam.
Thank you for writing this review on Hempworx. I have not heard of them before. Like you said Hemp/ Cannabis and related products are illegal in many parts of the world, where I live is one of them. MLM’s are also a grey area in my part of the world as well. I can see how this product would be appealing to some parts of the community, but hard to run a business if you are so restricted around where you can ship products to. It sounds like a local marketing specific product, subject to Government approval. Thanks for making me aware of it.
It is important that the CBD is actually dry during processing and added to hemp oil as a natural carrier. This process allows us to maintain the FDA and legal standard guidelines of Zero THC. Our competitors typically will use coconut oil, palm oil or a non-relative carrier for dried CBD. Do not be confused by the carrier of hemp oil. Our product is CBD Oil. Other competitors disregard the legal standard and you get unregulated, high amounts of THC in your product. With HempWorx you get the benefits of CBD without the downside of THC and remain compliant. Our CBD is grown in Kentucky and tested in an FDA approved facility.
In 1996, a study published in the clinical journal Nature found that chocolate contains thre...e fatty acid compounds that bind directly to cannabinoid receptors or indirectly act on them through increased anandamide levels (by inhibiting the FAAH enzyme). The endocannabinoid anandamide, which is commonly called “natural tetrahydrocannabinol” (or THC), is “a brain lipid that binds to cannabinoid receptors with high affinity and mimics the psychoactive effects of plant-derived cannabinoid drugs.” This suggests that certain chocolate compounds act on the same receptors as cannabis does. Though some researchers today question whether the compounds actually do bind to the receptors directly, the majority agree that chocolate does increase anandamide levels, thus affecting them indirectly.
For even more assurance about a product’s quality, Boyar recommends checking the COA to see whether it says that the lab meets “ISO 17025” standards. That suggests the lab adheres to high scientific standards. Also look to see whether a company uses testing methods validated by one of three respected national standard-setting organizations: the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists (AOAC), the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia (AHP), or the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP).

So I went about doing my own due diligence on each of these 7 concerns and here’s what I learned: I learned about the products and that they were advertised as very high quality - organic, non-gmo, made with hemp grown in Kentucky USA and came with a 30 day empty bottle guarantee. So far so good. Then I looked for HempWorx Reviews for people that have tried the product so I could see direct feedback. I was frankly astounded by how many positive reviews there were for people getting serious results from anything from chronic pain, anxiety, diabetes, poor sleep and more. But were these reviews legit? Well, they were all from Facebook where there is an actual photo of the reviewer and an unsolicited post in their own words. So, as far as testimonials go, it is probably as solid as it gets because the reviewer can be contacted directly to confirm the results. I ended up compiling my own group of HempWorx reviews from Facebook users and posted them on 5 separate pages -here is one of those pages you can view at CBD Oil for Pain.
5) Support – Starting and running any business can be very challenging and support in your efforts can be invaluable to help you get going, develop and implement a marketing plan and stay motivated and consistent. With other cannabis businesses you have to develop that support team with a great deal of time, thought and effort. When you become a HempWorx affiliate, you have a support team already set up for you from Day 1 – a customer service team that takes your orders and ships your product to your customers while also handling customer service after the sale as well. You also get your own success coach (Ken Higgins) that is with you in business every step of the way.

In the USA the legal definition of “commercial hemp,” per Section 7606 of the Agricultural Appropriations Act of 2014, is “INDUSTRIAL HEMP– The term “industrial hemp” indicates the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”

This kind of commission plan can lead some affiliates of Hempworx to engage in dishonest behavior as one might imagine, to create sales and earn greater rewards. The examples of bad behavior start from violent, forceful sales tactics to making absolute false statements. Some reports are also of Hempworx affiliates pushing people into registering for the auto-ship option. Products are automatically shipped out monthly to the consumer with auto-ship. It earns affiliates even greater rewards.
While more research is being conducted on the medical benefits of CBD and CBD oil, the bottom line is that there isn’t a lot of information available yet. Yes, CBD has helped many people, but just like many other nutritional supplements, there currently isn’t enough information for people to be able to determine if it’s effective.Unlike other nutritional supplements however, CBD if often discussed in the media. It’s become a popular and controversial topic that almost everyone has heard about. For people signing up to HempWorx, this means that potential customers are far more educated on the topic of CBD and could perhaps be leerier of even hearing you out before you have an opportunity to talk to them about its potential benefits. Many people also base their opinions of medical marijuana on their political affiliation and years of bad publicity on the plant. With all these issues taken into consideration, selling the products alone could be challenging without trying to sell the MLM opportunity on top of the products.

With the changing political and regulatory climate related to cannabis, hemp businesses are on the cusp of exciting new opportunities to expand their business, and to get into the cannabis industry. Whether you’re a farmer, hemp processor or manufacturer or another key link in the industrial hemp supply chain, you can position your business for accelerated growth with membership in the NACB.
Whether you like it or not, weed is a $1 billion industry. It's not just about smoking it. The flowers and seeds are used for organic body care, health foods, and other nutraceuticals. So there are companies such as Hempworx earning money by selling these hemp based products. You probably know this already and it's why you have searched through several Hempworx reviews.
With the signing of the 2018 Farm Bill, however, that is all about to change. Hemp legalization was first introduced by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican from industrial hemp-producing Kentucky. The measure, known as Section 7606, ends the Schedule I status of industrial hemp under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), which categorized the plant as a potentially addictive substance with no medical uses alongside drugs like heroin and ecstasy.
The CBD in Barroso's gummies was derived from marijuana plants, so it contained another compound, THC, which is illegal in many states. Barosso needed something without THC--he'd been jailed for drug use, and testing positive for THC would violate his parole. In 2012, he approached a compounding pharmacist, Laura Fuentes, about making a hemp-derived CBD product that could alleviate his pain and help keep him off opiates. She came up with an oil. "I could have gotten cleaner quicker if I'd had CBD every day," he says.
The dosage on the back label said to give him 1/2 to a full dropper twice a day due to his weight. I gave him 1/2 a dropper with his food. A few hours later I noticed he was wobbling when he walked and tripped up the stairs and collapsed. I took him to my vet and he said there must be THC in the oil. I thought, how can a company sell this product knowing full well that THC is extremely TOXIC for animals! The rep I bought the vials from said I gave him too much and to follow the dosage chart she gave me. Why would I give him anymore of this poison to my dog? Also, why did the product sold to me not have the proper dosage label? Also, I found that this product is Full Spectrum which means there is THC in the product.
