As you comb through the web pages, it’s clear the product is meant for a multi-level marketing scheme.  Many of these companies do not expect anyone to actually use the product.  They just  want people who will buy it in hopes of selling it to someone else.  One previous potential customer has said he could not buy the product, as the company demanded a referral.  This means multi-level marketing might be their main business.  This can lead to problems getting the product for regular consumers, though they do have an option to sell directly to the consumer as well on the website.
Despite prohibition, the U.S. is already home to an active and thriving hemp industry, although much of it is confined to individual states because of the laws. Legalization means that U.S. farmers will now be able to grow the crop, and existing hemp companies will be able to expand unabated and undeterred by the potential for federal intervention.
Experts expect the market for CBD to balloon if and when the farm bill passes, which could happen this month. That means the biggest challenge for Green Roads is yet to come. "I'm not worried about the companies that are in the market today, I'm worried about big companies," Barroso says. "We can't compete with those guys. I think about it every day."

No it isn’t. It is a genuine good quality product sold to customers who willingly buy it.  The products are sold through multi-level marketing. Companies including Rodan & Fields, Avon, Doterra, and Advocare use the same sales strategy. Every sale is credited to an affiliate who gets a commission for the sale. Affiliates also get paid to recruit new affiliates to sell the product. Though MLM business model can be contentious and the genuineness of testimonials product sellers can be questioned, it doesn’t make it a scam. We did another review on a similar company here.
Certainly, there is no shortage of opportunities to commercialize hemp. But until hemp is treated as an industrial crop that can grow freely, businesses won’t thrive. Many states have already taken steps to legalize and jump-start their local hemp economies, but the industry won’t scale until the federal government passes legislation that protects farmers and entrepreneurs from archaic and nonsensical narcotics regulations. Until then, this is a great time for entrepreneurs to start planting the seeds of their hemp ventures.
To summarize, we would say that HempWorx CBD oils are pretty standard in terms of effectiveness, and perhaps even a good value in terms of price compared to some of the more popular brands in the US. While they’re probably not the best we’ve ever had, they’re by no means the worst either. And of course, the company offers fast, reliable shipping to all 50 U.S. states.

To date the FDA has only approved one drug containing CBD and that was only after it was shown to meet rigorous scientific standards. Last November, the FDA shipped warning letters to four CBD companies for making unproven health claims. Last summer, Josh Zwagil warned distributors to avoid using words like “cures,” “prevents,” and “treats” in the marketing of HempWorx products because regulators like the FDA are keeping close watch, the Canadian Broadcasting Company reported. Clearly, that message was not received by all distributors. (See more on the legal issue in the last section of this article.)

Like any CBD company, HempWorx sell CBD oils. The oils come in three flavours: Natural, Cinnamon, and Peppermint. None of these are made using artificial flavours or sweeteners. The oils are full-spectrum, meaning they contain a full range of cannabinoids from the plant. However, HempWorx also sell a THC-free version if you are worried about the effects of THC.
Hemp seeds may very well be the world’s first, and perhaps, best superfood. They provide up to 75 percent more protein than a similar amount of flax or chia seeds and contain all 20 amino acids. They’re filled with healthy fatty acids including omega-3 and omega-6. They’re also high in fiber, iron, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, zinc, vitamin E and magnesium -- basically everything you need for a nutritious meal or snack.
A long-awaited legal challenge targeting federal drug authorities who call CBD a controlled substance will be heard in a federal appeals court in February. The Hemp Industries Association and hemp businesses are suing the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration over a 2016 rule that cannabidiol is a controlled substance similar to marijuana. Arguments before the 9th Circuit […]
First off, hemp seed oil is oil extracted from hemp seeds.  It contains very little CBD and is not commonly used as a source for CBD since the rest of the plant contains much more CBD.  The claim to have a ‘full spectrum CBD’ is very strange wording.  CBD stands for cannabidiol.  It is a single chemical, a single cannabinoid, so it cannot be ‘full spectrum’ because it contains no other ingredients.  This could be merely bad writing, or could indicate attempt to confound either consumers, or more likely sellers.  The ingredients listed say hemp seed oil, CBD rich whole hemp extract, and flavoring.  There’s no list of just ‘CBD’ alone.  However, on the certificate of analysis provided by the organization, the percent of CBD comes out correct.  From this we conclude that the ‘phytocannabinoid extract’ is indeed all of the cannabinoids together, but that more than 160% of that is comprised of CBD.  Therefore, we can fairly well trust that this product does in fact contain the stated level of CBD, despite the confusing wording.
Some research suggests that in some people, CBD may work better when it’s combined with at least a little THC, says Martin Lee, director of Project CBD, an advocacy group that supports CBD research and the author of "Smoke Signals: A Social History of Marijuana—Medical, Recreational, and Scientific" (Scribner, 2012). This is called the “entourage effect,” Lee says, the idea that the sum of the two chemicals, plus other related compounds in the plant, is greater than their individual parts.
Thanks Barbara, This is really helpful. Unfortunately, I have read another review that stated they hadn't been paid either and they had a difficult time getting support. The first red flag was that they state that CBD oil is legal in all states. It is not. Yikes on Trump support too. Although I have not seen any internet research to support that statement, it puts a sour taste in my mouth. Thanks!
During this time, both the FDA announced that it had approved the “first drug containing cannabidiol” for epilepsy and a spokeswoman for the DEA, commenting generally on the agency’s reported seizure of hemp destined for a CBD oil manufacturer in North Carolina, said that “as far as the federal government is concerned, CBD oil is illegal.” That’s two federal agencies that both have the word “drug” in their names appearing to contradict each other, mere weeks apart. So suffice to say, it’s cloudier than a Cheech and Chong cast party right now.

I’m an MS Warrior and I use and LOVE the pain relief rub as well as the Cinnamon CBD oil. My Dad has told me he feels 20 again. I’m sticking with what works for us and that’s HempWorx! I don’t love it because I sell it, I sell it because I love it. I started as a customer and moved to the other side because I work from home and why not since I use the stuff anyways! CannaBossBabe and not ashamed of that. 🙂
