CBD is the major nonpsychoactive component of Cannabis sativa. According to a 2013 study published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, CBD benefits including acting in some experimental models as an anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antioxidant, antiemetic, anxiolytic and antipsychotic agent, and is therefore a potential medicine for the treatment of neuroinflammation, epilepsy, oxidative injury, vomiting and nausea, anxiety and schizophrenia. Hemp extract is taken from the whole plant and contains higher levels of CBD than hemp seed oil. This is where the CBD levels come from. However, we are confused by the labeling. If we expect the 500 product to have 500 mg of CBD, are we right? The label shows 500 mg of ‘phytocannabinoid hemp oil’. The solution is that about 160% of that is CBD, with the other cannabinoids as a tag along. This is effective.
The CBD in Barroso's gummies was derived from marijuana plants, so it contained another compound, THC, which is illegal in many states. Barosso needed something without THC--he'd been jailed for drug use, and testing positive for THC would violate his parole. In 2012, he approached a compounding pharmacist, Laura Fuentes, about making a hemp-derived CBD product that could alleviate his pain and help keep him off opiates. She came up with an oil. "I could have gotten cleaner quicker if I'd had CBD every day," he says.
Again, this business opportunity claims to be an affiliate model, but as you can see from the prices above, the fact that you must recruit others to your “team,” and the fact that you must buy a product from the company before you can ever earn any money from them, it’s easy to see that this is in fact an MLM business model rather than an affiliate one.
This day-long session will provide insight on where the hemp and hemp-based CBD industries stand today, where they are going, what types of business opportunities will emerge and how to tap into this growth. You’ll get an overview of the current legal and regulatory landscape, hear about the latest on the research and science front and learn about investment possibilities.
Before there was HempWorx, there was My Daily Choice, an MLM whose main products pre-HempWorx were supplements that you spray into your mouth. Josh Zwagil started My Daily Choice in November 2014, a month after ending a five-year run with an automotive products MLM, Syntek Global, where he rose to the highest rank of Blue Diamond Executive, according to his LinkedIn page. (Fun fact: After Zwagil left Syntek Global, the MLM filed a lawsuit against its longtime president, John Winterholler, alleging, among other things, that he went behind the company’s back and against its interests to market and sell a competitor’s products.)
But why is hemp illegal in the first place? After all, America was built on hemp, an industrial crop which contains tiny amounts of THC, the chemical compound in cannabis that produces psychoactive effects. Several Founding Fathers grew hemp. Cultivation of hemp was mandated by law in the Massachusetts, Virginia and Connecticut colonies. Beginning in 1631, hemp was legal tender for paying taxes in many of the American colonies and remained so for state taxes until the early 1800s.
So I went about doing my own due diligence on each of these 7 concerns and here’s what I learned: I learned about the products and that they were advertised as very high quality - organic, non-gmo, made with hemp grown in Kentucky USA and came with a 30 day empty bottle guarantee. So far so good. Then I looked for HempWorx Reviews for people that have tried the product so I could see direct feedback. I was frankly astounded by how many positive reviews there were for people getting serious results from anything from chronic pain, anxiety, diabetes, poor sleep and more. But were these reviews legit? Well, they were all from Facebook where there is an actual photo of the reviewer and an unsolicited post in their own words. So, as far as testimonials go, it is probably as solid as it gets because the reviewer can be contacted directly to confirm the results. I ended up compiling my own group of HempWorx reviews from Facebook users and posted them on 5 separate pages -here is one of those pages you can view at CBD Oil for Pain.
The Hempworx Affiliate Program took off! The demand for high-quality, scientifically tested, CBD Oil quickly grew, and it became clear the demand is not limited to North America. That is when they decided to merge with My Daily Choice. My Daily Choice is an international network marketing company that already had international operations, so May 15, 2017, Hempworx merged with My Daily Choice
Very confused why my bottle does not have a batch number on it so that i can look up the certificate of testing? the person who sold me it said i could check lab testing and i can’t. this is false advertising. doesn’t seem right. on further looking it is an MLM company which makes you think how much the product is really worth if you are paying all the people at different levels. you pay the person who sold it to you and the people above them in the triangle. would rather not. i’m in scotland and over here cbd is now available lots of places. the high street versions aren’t very good. but i don’t want to support an mlm like this so I keep looking. i was drawn in by someone on facebook selling so be aware and be careful!
