CBD works on the entire body by bringing CBD into the Endocannabinoid System, the inherent system in all our bodies and our pet's which has CBD receptors that receive these chemical compounds. CBD is an adaptogen meaning it works to bring homeostatis (balance) to the body. When the body is in balance, it heals itself. So now we can see how it is possible that CBD can improve so many health conditions. This may explain why many people take HempWorx CBD oil products for one ailment also works for another health condition they have as well! In many cases, there are clinical studies that support this effectiveness of CBD Oil for a particular ailment too.
A 500mg bottle of Hempworx CBD oil costs $69 plus shipping. Before shipping cost it amounts to $0.14 per milligram of CBD. The 750mg bottle costs $89 plus shipping or $0.12 per milligram of CBD. The price per milligram is not outrageous by MLM standards. Still, it’s considerably higher in price than CBD oil products from other trustworthy companies like Lazarus Naturals, Bluebird Botanicals, and CBDistillery.

In 1937, federal prohibition of cannabis as we know it today began with the Marihuana Tax Act. Some believe that the anti-cannabis campaign was a joint effort by Andrew Mellon, William Randolph Hearst and Pierre Du Pont to protect their business interests in petrochemicals, paper, cotton and nylon, all of which faced serious competition from hemp alternatives. Others believe that the crusade against cannabis was fueled by racism and the desire to demonize Mexican immigrants. In either case, the plant should never have been outlawed.

Again, this business opportunity claims to be an affiliate model, but as you can see from the prices above, the fact that you must recruit others to your “team,” and the fact that you must buy a product from the company before you can ever earn any money from them, it’s easy to see that this is in fact an MLM business model rather than an affiliate one.
San Francisco-based tech company Eaze launched a new online marketplace, Eaze Wellness, to ship hemp-derived CBD products to 41 states across the U.S. and the District of Columbia. CBD sales more than doubled among the company’s customers last year, Sheena Shiravi, Eaze’s director of consumer communications, told Fortune, highlighting a key business opportunity. This marks the company’s […]
As a dorky kid, I spent many a Saturday at the Bloomington, Ind., public library, scouring Consumer Reports back issues for great deals. Now, as a (much) bigger kid, that's still my job! Identifying products and services, especially in healthcare, that are safe, effective, and affordable—and highlighting those that aren't—is my top concern. Got a tip? These are some of the medications I was able to stop taking with the help of CBD oil. And of course, each of these medications came with a whole slew of nasty side effects…most of these medications was for my Ulcerative Colitis. I was also taking Asacol HD 800Mg (3x/day)…guess what side effects I have with CBD oil? 0…NONE…other than feeling more like myself, more relaxed, less anxiety, and no more UC flares, no joint pain…I was a slave to these medications for almost 2-3 years before I decided to take my health into MY OWN HANDS…it was MY personal choice to do so. I knew there had to be a better way than slowly ravaging my body and organs with toxic pharmaceutical pills…I am SO happy that I found the right cbd oil that works for me. I did alot of research, did my homework, tried different cbd oils, and didn’t get any relief til I tried HempWorx.
So I went about doing my own due diligence on each of these 7 concerns and here’s what I learned: I learned about the products and that they were advertised as very high quality - organic, non-gmo, made with hemp grown in Kentucky USA and came with a 30 day empty bottle guarantee. So far so good. Then I looked for HempWorx Reviews for people that have tried the product so I could see direct feedback. I was frankly astounded by how many positive reviews there were for people getting serious results from anything from chronic pain, anxiety, diabetes, poor sleep and more. But were these reviews legit? Well, they were all from Facebook where there is an actual photo of the reviewer and an unsolicited post in their own words. So, as far as testimonials go, it is probably as solid as it gets because the reviewer can be contacted directly to confirm the results. I ended up compiling my own group of HempWorx reviews from Facebook users and posted them on 5 separate pages -here is one of those pages you can view at CBD Oil for Pain.
HempWorx uses only industrial, GMO-free Kentucky hemp grown using organic methods under the 2014 Farm Bill and the Government Pilot Program for Hemp Research. The result is high potency and consistency in each compound processed via solvent-free CO2 extraction. They offer powerful, full spectrum oils as well as THC-free tinctures (Note that all HempWorx’s full spectrum oils fall at or below the federal allotment for THC levels). Each oil is available in two concentrations in cinnamon, peppermint, and natural flavors. No artificial colors or flavors are present in any of their offerings. The innovative topicals include high-end skincare varieties rich in healing properties. The powerful anti-aging cream treats wrinkles with 50 mg CBD, while their Revive cream includes other anti-agers like collagen and retinol. HempWorx’s pet line features dog treats that are soy-free, grain-free, and corn-free plus oil tinctures for pain/anxiety relief. One of their most popular products is the hemp-infused coffee, a delicious way to enjoy CBD benefits. And the best part is the CBD Keto Coffee Creamer that goes along with it! This savory addition is gluten-free, Keto, vegan, and sugar-free: a great way to add CBD to a daily health regimen in a tasty way.

Some of those products, which don’t include the CBD amount on their label, market themselves as “whole plant” or “full spectrum” hemp products, or say they are rich in other compounds from the plant, such as various fatty acids. Though it’s possible that those other compounds provide additional health benefits, that’s still uncertain. In those cases, you could check the COA, if they have one, which should list how much CBD or THC they contain.
My first bottle of 750mg peppermint was what I ordered and worked great. However, my second order of the same exact oil was different. Even though the label said 750mg peppermint, it had no flavor and I've had to use more for it to be affective. I feel cheated and scammed. I'm looking for a direct buying company in my area to purchase my next bottle from.
In 1 dose of CBD oil I felt results. The next day, it was easier getting out of bed. I purchased a... bottle of the 500 and my carpal tunnel stopped hurting completely. My whole body feels less inflamed and I have more mobility. I had back/neck pain all of the time, but Now I am pain free! I also signed up as a distributor. Thank you Beth Annie Stockdale! See More
Because CBD currently operates on the boundaries of legality, it's tricky to figure out how big the industry is and how much bigger it could get. Brightfield pegs the market for hemp-derived CBD products at about $591 million in 2018, growing to $22 billion by 2022. Other analysts, while nowhere near as bullish, are still very positive on the sector. Hemp Business Journal says the market for hemp-derived CBD was about $190 million in 2017, and will grow to $646 million by 2022.
TINA.org reached out to the Zwagils, the company’s founders, for comment. Erin McGinnis, HempWorx’s director of compliance, responded with a statement indicating the company is in the process of reviewing every item in the above article and every entry in the health and income claims databases TINA.org compiled. As of 9/6/18, HempWorx had removed 83 of more than 100 health claims and 35 of more than 50 income claims. In addition, McGinnis said HempWorx has suspended several distributors and terminated one in response to TINA.org’s findings.
While more research is being conducted on the medical benefits of CBD and CBD oil, the bottom line is that there isn’t a lot of information available yet. Yes, CBD has helped many people, but just like many other nutritional supplements, there currently isn’t enough information for people to be able to determine if it’s effective.Unlike other nutritional supplements however, CBD if often discussed in the media. It’s become a popular and controversial topic that almost everyone has heard about. For people signing up to HempWorx, this means that potential customers are far more educated on the topic of CBD and could perhaps be leerier of even hearing you out before you have an opportunity to talk to them about its potential benefits. Many people also base their opinions of medical marijuana on their political affiliation and years of bad publicity on the plant. With all these issues taken into consideration, selling the products alone could be challenging without trying to sell the MLM opportunity on top of the products.
I signed up to sell this product and the first bottle was amazing, but every bottle after that was worse in quality until the fourth bottle, and it didn't even work, my pain levels came back horrible. I will also add that I have been in many consultant based home business and this one by far is the worst, not only are the people you sign up under beyond rude and insulting, they will censor you on HempWorx pages or delete you altogether if they don't like what your opinion is. It's a one-sided company, if you say one thing they don't like they remove it so you will never really see any negative reviews because they won't allow it. I have been treated beyond despicable by ladies in this business who are trying to get rich off sick people. If the product was all that, they would not need mules to sell it!
The thing about HempWorx is that they really don’t make things easy for the customer. Although the affiliate programme seems like a great idea, it does play into HempWorx’ pyramid business model. You receive a free product by referring a friend, and three of their friends then have to purchase the HempWorx products. For us, not listing pricing on the website is a bit of a red flag.

Ten years later, the 2014 Farm Bill established pilot programs in which universities and state agencies could grow industrial hemp, defined as containing less than 0.3 percent THC, for research purposes. It would be the first time since the 1937 law was passed that hemp could be legally cultivated and harvested in the U.S. The commercial cultivation, harvest and processing of hemp, however, remained federally illegal.
Yes. All our hemp crops are grown free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, so our quality starts with our hemp plants. From the time our hemp oil is harvested to the manufacturing and shipping of our products, we test our hemp oil multiple times to ensure accuracy in potency information and to check for contaminants like pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and mold, as well as cannabinoid content. We also use a subcritical CO2 method when we extract our hemp oil, instead of harsh solvents. CO2 is a much healthier choice than other potential solvents and is "generally regarded as safe" (GRAS) by the FDA.
At these prices I believe most purchasers believe they are buying a CBD containing product for pain control or other conditions. When a product is advertised as "full spectrum" this is what is implied. Do not make the same expensive mistake that I did. This is a hemp seed extract with negligible, if any, CBD. It has no effect for pain control, glaucoma, or other conditions.
1. Is Hempworx a scam? No. CBD oil scams do exist whereby consumers are deceived and grossly overcharged for a poor quality product. Hempworx is a real product of reasonably good quality that is sold to customers that willingly purchase it. Hempworx does sell its products through multi-level marketing (MLM). This is the same sales strategy used by companies like Avon, Doterra, Rodan & Fields, Advocare and a host of others. Each sale is credited to one of their affiliates who receive a commission for the sale. Affiliates are also incented to recruit new affiliates to sell the product. While the MLM business model can be controversial and the authenticity of testimonials from those selling the product can be questioned, that doesn’t make it a scam.
So being a sufferer of Chronic pain I was led to Hempworx. And to be fair, it did help alliviate some pain, help with anxiety, heal cuts faster and aid in digestion issues. However, the zero thc is an out and out lie. When I went to the pain doctor I was told that I tested positive for marijuana an I haven’t touched it in 19 years! The first thing he asked was if I took cbd oil. Yes Hempworx and they claimed to be THC free. Well they lied. So now I get treated like I am breaking the law? Luckily they said no big deal, stop taking it. They led me to a prescription strength cbd oil. We will see the results
Many people rightly ask, “Is the HempWorx Affiliate Program Legit?” Fair question because there are so many scams out there when it comes to business opportunities. But who can give you an honest review you can trust? I saw a post in a reddit forum stating, “HempWorx is a scam because it is MLM.” This person automatically called it a scam solely because it’s an MLM program. Is that a fair judgement?
Again, this business opportunity claims to be an affiliate model, but as you can see from the prices above, the fact that you must recruit others to your “team,” and the fact that you must buy a product from the company before you can ever earn any money from them, it’s easy to see that this is in fact an MLM business model rather than an affiliate one.
But why is hemp illegal in the first place? After all, America was built on hemp, an industrial crop which contains tiny amounts of THC, the chemical compound in cannabis that produces psychoactive effects. Several Founding Fathers grew hemp. Cultivation of hemp was mandated by law in the Massachusetts, Virginia and Connecticut colonies. Beginning in 1631, hemp was legal tender for paying taxes in many of the American colonies and remained so for state taxes until the early 1800s.

With the federal government's full legalization of hemp, a previously marginalized industry is opening for free interstate commerce. What does that mean for entrepreneurs looking to get into the space, as well as those who could benefit from a wider availability of hemp-derived products? Here's a brief look at hemp's history in the U.S., as well as what its newly legalized status means for small businesses.
Thanks Barbara, This is really helpful. Unfortunately, I have read another review that stated they hadn't been paid either and they had a difficult time getting support. The first red flag was that they state that CBD oil is legal in all states. It is not. Yikes on Trump support too. Although I have not seen any internet research to support that statement, it puts a sour taste in my mouth. Thanks!
