After joining HempWorx, I tested the products myself and I was pleasantly surprised. I bought the HempWorx CBD oil 500mg and the HempWorx pain rub and each has worked very well for my chronic back pain while also providing a calming effect which I like. Great results, but would these products work for my customers? Here’s an example - my very first customer bought the 750mg CBD oil for her arthritis pain. She had tried other products that had THC in them that did not work for her. After a week or so after she bought the CBD oil, I called her to get feedback on how it was going and she said she really didn’t notice a difference so I suggested that she take the oil topically on her pain areas rather than sublingually. A week later she was ecstatic because she was now getting relief from her arthritis pain and this was the only thing that was helping her. She reordered a few weeks later. So now I knew I could check off that main concern of whether the products were for real.
First off, hemp seed oil is oil extracted from hemp seeds. It contains very little CBD and is not commonly used as a source for CBD since the rest of the plant contains much more CBD. The claim to have a ‘full spectrum CBD’ is very strange wording. CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is a single chemical, a single cannabinoid, so it cannot be ‘full spectrum’ because it contains no other ingredients. This could be merely bad writing, or could indicate attempt to confound either consumers, or more likely sellers. The ingredients listed say hemp seed oil, CBD rich whole hemp extract, and flavoring. There’s no list of just ‘CBD’ alone. However, on the certificate of analysis provided by the organization, the percent of CBD comes out correct. From this we conclude that the ‘phytocannabinoid extract’ is indeed all of the cannabinoids together, but that more than 160% of that is comprised of CBD. Therefore, we can fairly well trust that this product does in fact contain the stated level of CBD, despite the confusing wording.
That pretty much describes the status of an entire industry--the makers of products containing cannabidiol, or CBD. The compound, added to everything from skin cream to ice cream, can be derived from hemp or marijuana and has been touted as a treatment for ailments ranging from anxiety to cancer. The catch: "It's still in a legal gray area," says Bethany Gomez, director of research for Brightfield Group, which studies the cannabis and CBD industries.
Despite the strange wording on the website, this certificate of analysis appears to show that this product does indeed have the stated level of cbd, about 10 mg per dropper. It is confounding therefore, why they have tried to conflate cbd oil and hemp oil, even using ‘phytocannabinoid hemp oil’ on the ingredients label rather than just saying, cbd content.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is just one of over 85 cannabinoids that is identified in the cannabis plant. CBD is becoming increasingly popular among the masses for having a wide scope of medicinal benefits – due to clinical reports and lots of test data showing little to no side effects and a lack of psycho-activity (typically associated with marijuana products and high THC).
I signed up to sell this product and the first bottle was amazing, but every bottle after that was worse in quality until the fourth bottle, and it didn't even work, my pain levels came back horrible. I will also add that I have been in many consultant based home business and this one by far is the worst, not only are the people you sign up under beyond rude and insulting, they will censor you on HempWorx pages or delete you altogether if they don't like what your opinion is. It's a one-sided company, if you say one thing they don't like they remove it so you will never really see any negative reviews because they won't allow it. I have been treated beyond despicable by ladies in this business who are trying to get rich off sick people. If the product was all that, they would not need mules to sell it!
First, as I mentioned above, CBD products are technically still illegal in many areas, or they at least require a prescription for you to be able to possess them. Sadly, many people believe that it is legal to possess CBD products anywhere because they are made from hemp and contain little to no THC. Not only that, but HempWorx claims that it’s 100% legal to own these products anywhere. What they may not tell you however, is that just recently they stopped selling their products to people living in Canada. As this news article confirms, HempWorx claimed that it was 100% legal to use and possess their products in Canada, but after a government investigation, they quickly stopped selling their products to Canadians.
When I woke up Monday morning around 6AM I was in severe pain (pain level about a 9 out of 10) and it hurt me to move. However, I did make it out of bed to go to the bathroom, let my dog out, and I took a muscle relaxer and went right back to bed. Stayed in bed till about 11 ish. Still in alot of pain (pain level about 8). Got up took a half a dropper full of 500 HempWorx CBD Oil. And went back to bed. After about 30 to 40 minutes, I was feeling much better (pain level about 5 out of 10). I got up, got a shower, dressed and ate something. I was moving around better, still in discomfort, but the edge of my sever pain was gone. I took another dose of the CBD Herbal Drops around 4:30 PM when my pain was starting to come back. I AM A BELIEVER, this stuff works.
HempWorx earns bonus points right out of the gate by choosing to use domestically grown, organic, and non-GMO hemp, and knocks it out of the park with their evident passion for educating the public on the uses, history, and science of cannabinoids. Fun facts (such as the fact that the first American flag was made out of hemp) add a rich critical thinking element to the customer’s experience. Instead of touting it as just another supplement, HempWorx gives homage to the long-standing legacy, magic, and controversy of the heralded cannabis plant.
However, in the vast majority of instances, this CDB is delivered internally, whether using drops like those offered by HempWorx, or other forms of supplementation. But, we learned from professionals in the article there currently aren’t any formal studies looking at the relationship between topically applied CBD creams and pain relief, or reduced signs of aging.
